Patricia Marie Williams, 78, of Sherman, passed away January 9, 2026.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

Born August 28, 1947, in Sherman, TX, Patricia was the daughter of Gladys Marie Nelson and Floyd Marion McCollum. She married William “Tony” Williams on June 24, 1983, in Sherman, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Alfred McCollum.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, William “Tony” Williams; sons Dwayne Bowles (Durant, OK) and Darren Bowles (wife Tammy, Fort Worth, TX); daughter Patty Bowles (Fort Worth, TX); brothers Ronald McCollum , Mickey McCollum, Darrel Nelson, Jackie Nelson; sister Sharon Howse; four grandchildren—Lauren Bowles, Katie Gardner, Dylan Bowles, Haley Bowles—and seven great-grandchildren.

Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.
