Obituary For Patsy Elaine Lewallen

It is with sadness that the family of Patsy Elaine Donihoo Lewallen acknowledges her passing on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Homestead of Sherman. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. The family will greet friends on Thursday, January 17, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Spears of Kemp Baptist Church in Kemp, Oklahoma will officiate.

Patsy was born on August 18, 1955, in Sherman, Texas to John Lewis and Helen Juanita Donihoo. They moved to Trenton and that is where she was raised and went to school. Soon after graduation, she enrolled into Grayson College Nursing Program and began a career that was her passion. She graduated in 1981 and then worked at Wilson N. Jones for over 30 years in labor and delivery. A lot of people in Sherman were brought into this world with her help, including members of her own family. Even her grandchild was delivered with her help. She was a very loving person who was extremely proud of her family, particularly her grandchildren whom she adored. Among her other passions were reading, cooking, and doing word searches. Her commitment and love towards her family along with her award- winning meatloaf is what her loved ones will remember most. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Lewis, and sisters, Gail Lopez and Kay Rushing. She is survived by her husband, Ron; three children: Don Cato and wife Trudy, John Cato, and Tina Foster and husband Richard; brother George Donihoo and wife Marie; sister, Faye Harper; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
