Obituaries

Services for Paul E. Kranning, 86, of Sherman, who passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman, will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel in Sherman. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas. The family will have a brief reception following the service at Dannel.

Paul was born January 29, 1935, in Elnora, Indiana, to Eddie and Hulda Rusher Kranning. He enlisted in the United States Air Force upon graduation from high school and spent over 20 years on active duty. Paul had a passion for square dancing. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his son James Kranning. He is survived by 6 children: Ricky Kranning, Paul Kranning, Elizabeth Robbins, Janet Wood, Robert Kranning, and Timothy Kranning; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
