Graveside services for Paul Franklin Montgomery, 78, of Sherman, will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate.

Paul was born on September 20, 1945, to Odie Franklin and Maggie Faustine Montgomery. He was raised in Sherman and graduated from Sherman High School in 1964. He went to work for Anderson Clayton Industries and worked there until the plant closed after Quaker Oats purchased the business. Paul married Helen Margaret Ortez on February 14, 1970. They had 2 children, Paul II and Jennifer.

Paul loved to tend his yard and spend time with his dogs. He was a fan of Elvis and he loved his family. He will be missed.

Paul was preceded in death by his son Paul II. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Jennifer; 2 grandchildren, Paul Rease and Ashley Reavis; 2 sisters: Linda Alexander and Norma Fowler, and a host of friends.
