Obituary For Paula Ann Prather

Paula Ann Prather, October 31, 1965 - January 24, 2026.

Originally from Athens, Tx and current resident of Sherman, Tx, died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Sherman, Texas.

Paula is survived by her husband Jimmie Prather, sons James Prather and Michael Prather and daughter in law Ali, grandson Jason Prather, and brothers Paul Fox and Kenneth Fox.

Paula loved spending time creating wreaths and other crafts. The last thing that she loved doing was making freeze dried treats and having a small business, Dakota’s Tasty Treats with her grandson J.D.

    Paula was a great cook and often invited her neighbors over for a cook out in her backyard. Of course Jimmie was the griller and always offered the perfect barbeque meats. She was always there to offer a helping hand when needed. She will be missed by us all.
