Ralph I. Bean 81 retired dentist of 48 years passed away on November 22nd 2012 at his residence in Sherman Texas. Graveside services will be held at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman on Monday November 26th at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Bean was born on January 16 1931 to Ira Raymond and Mary Winn Pressley Bean in Rosebud Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years from 1951 - 1955 where he traveled the world and played drums in the Naval Band. He graduated from Texas Christian University in 1958. He married Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Holmes on September 5 1959. He then earned his degree in Dentistry at Baylor Dental School in 1963. Dr. Bean was dedicated to his family friends and community. He enjoyed spending time listening to sports radio fishing and playing dominos with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty. He is survived by his daughter Leslie Bean Crismon and husband Craig of Springdale Arkansas, his son Chris Bean and wife Lisa of Denton Texas, and five grandchildren Peyton and Pressley Bean of Denton Texas Kelley Crismon and wife Sara Cody and Ashley Crismon of Springdale Arkansas.
