Obituary For Remigio Guerrero
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Remigio “Reme” Guerrero Jr. age 57 our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away on Thursday February 25, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Reme Guerrero, as known to all his family and friends, was born on February 26, 1963 in Plainview, Texas. Reme attended school as a child in Whitesboro, Texas and Graduated with Honors from Snyder High School in Snyder, Texas in 1981. Reme then went on to study and graduate with a degree in Horticulture from Richland College in Dallas, Texas.
To know Reme was to fall in love with his outgoing personality, giving heart and beautiful smile. He absolutely never met a stranger and loved to surround himself with friends and family. He loved music, dancing, bowling, socializing and was an avid collector of antiques. But he especially loved gardening. He had an absolute knack for building beautiful garden areas. Reme also had such a generous heart and never wanted his friends to spend a holiday alone so he would always invite them to attend family gatherings at his parents place in Whitesboro. Reme was raised in the country but always had the city in his heart and made Dallas, Texas his longtime home.
He is survived by his Mother, Anita Guerrero of Whitesboro, sister Elizabeth Guerrero of Gainesville, Sister Christina Croney and husband Wayne of Whitesboro, Brother Adam Guerrero of Whitesboro, Nephew Zachary Guerrero and family, Laurine, Madeline and Tucker of Whitesboro, Nephew Bradley Guerrero and family, Katie, Berkeley, Riley and Deegan of Durant, Oklahoma, Niece Chelsea Shurbet of Thackerville, Oklahoma, his precious dog, Ginger Guerrero of Dallas, who will now be in the wonderful care of Michael McHugh, longtime friend, brother and caretaker.
