The first time I got to meet Richard Joe was at me and bryce's baby shower. When I walked up to him to introduce myself, he smiled from ear to ear. He had absolutely no idea who I was. Little did he know, I had heard so many stories about him. he called me girl. and i loved it. because bryce and nathan were both always his "boy". The next time I got to see Richard joe, he was at the hospital. Bryce told me he never saw him like that before. Richard was sad. He was hurting. And the only words he could mess her up was mama as he pointed to the ceiling. we just told him we know we know, but not yet. he would cry and cry bryce and nathan left but I stayed in the room to talk to him longer. I held his hand for a while, and then I grabbed the paper and pen and started drawing some pictures. I had him draw me some back. just to distract him for a while . It's really not my place, but I can truly say that I bet Richard is so happy that He got to see his mama (old grandma) daddy and his sister tina. i like to think they were waiting for him at the gates of heaven. I like to think that there he was again. smiling from ear to ear.
