Obituaries

Robert Wester 72 of Sherman passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Robert passed peacefully while in the care of Heart to Heart Hospice at Homestead of Denison. Robert was born December 9, 1949 to James and Mildred Wester in Sherman, Texas. He accepted Jesus as his lord and savior and never faltered in his faith. Robert enjoyed antiquing, watching old movies and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, his brothers, Ricky Wester and Johnny Wester. His sisters, Mary Katherine Wester and Donna Veazey. He is survived by his mother of Mountain Home, Arkansas, his brother James M. Wester of Sherman, Tx and sister Beverly Carney of Mountain Home, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews. A family celebration of life will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Sherman, Friday March 11th at 11 am with Pastor Kenneth Dacus officiating. Cremation services will be provided by Dannel Funeral Home of Sherman.
