Send Flowers Robert 'Bob' "Bob" M. Willis October 23, 1927 - October 14, 2014 Robert Maurice 'Bob' Willis, 86, of Sherman, passed away at his home Tuesday, October 14th, surrounded by his loving family. His family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16th, at Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 17th, in Dannel Funeral Chapel. Interment, with military honors, will follow immediately afterward in West Hill Cemetery. Bob was born October 23, 1927, in Ennis, TX, to Hiram and Ora Steelman Willis. He graduated from Overton High School and then began a career in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Retiring, after obtaining the rank of MSGT, and proudly devoting over 22 years in uniform, Bob began a second career with Weber Aircraft, and retired with over 20 years of service in the private sector. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Ernest Willis and sister Bonnie Willis Odeh, Bob is survived by his children: Nathan Willis and wife Janie of San Antonio, Kevin Willis and wife Pat of San Antonio, and Karen Willis Woolsey of Denison; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother Claude Willis and wife Cindy.
