My condolences to the family. I wish for your strength as you deal with this journey. Roger was full of information and was always teaching. I learned a lot about our job and a few life tips.

Roger was a dear friend of 30 years. Witty, dedicated to family, dedicated to work, honest, humble, and caring were some of his attributes that quickly come to mind. We had some very fun times filled with humor and dry wit. A very special man. Thank you Roger for being a special friend.

So sorry for your loss! Roger was one of the special people we all respected and cherish having known. He was an accomplished outfielder and batter for the Sherman Bearcats and progressed to college baseball for Sam Houston State Bearkats. I clearly remember his prowess in the outfield and power hitting @ the plate as we were teammates for a season and my fraternity house (KA) was next to the ATO's where we visited often. He was a true friend as we stayed in touch over the years during his business career and retirement. I always look back on our visits with the fondest of memories! Peace be with you!

Roger was a kind and humble man. An excellent baseball player and a starter for the '64 Sherman bearcat baseball team that reached the Class 4A state final. This Bearcat and classmate will be missed. Our prayers for the family.

I was one of Roger's fraternity brothers, and I will tell you Roger was without question one of the nicest guys I have met and had the pleasure to know. He was one of those truly sincere guys who when he asked you a question, he really was wanting to know how you were doing and was genuinely concerned. Roger and I touched base at times over the years, but not nearly enough. The world and your family have lost a great man, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and a really good ball player! I am so sorry! Way too soon! Mike Pevoto (Toe)

Mike, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I know he must have been proud of you. I give him credit for molding you into a quality young person. I've got a feeling he set a good example for you in that area. I bet he was also proud of your success in the Wildcat Football program. He should be as you were an important part of it. Praying for you and your family. Coach Kimbrough
