Obituary For Ronald Stephen Cooper

Ronald Stephen Cooper, 76, of Gordonville, TX, passed away on February 2, 2025 in Gordonville, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11 , 2025 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Ronald Stephen Cooper was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Howard William Cooper and MaryLee Vivian Stevens on February 5, 1948. He went to school at John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City. He married Helen Rose Ryan on August 20, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. He worked as a District Manager for Fechheimer Brothers Company for 10 years. He was a veteran of The Vietnam War and served in the Marines from 1964-1968. He was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, Good Conduct Medal, and a Rifle Expert’s Badge with several others. He was a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical, Warfare Defense Specialist. He was honorably discharged as a United States Marine Corps Sgt E-5 on September 1, 1968.

Ronald Stephen Cooper is preceded in death by Howard William Cooper and MaryLee Vivian Stevens.

Ronald Stephen Cooper is survived by Ex wife: Helen Cooper, Children: Crystal Macias and Chance Cooper. Grandchildren: Karlie Cooper, Ryan Cooper, Miranda Macias, Jasmin Macias, Jaeden Macias, Madison Macias, Lyla Cooper, Kennedy Cooper, and Reiker Cooper. Great grandchildren: Nova Long and Isaiah Hill.
