Obituary For Roschelle Copeland
Send Flowers Roschelle "Shelley" "Shelley" Copeland February 13, 1963 - April 3, 2014 Roschelle Merleen ‘Shelley’ Copeland, 51, of Sherman, passed away at her home Thursday night April 3rd, with her loving family at her side. Family visitation is scheduled from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 6th, at Dannel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Shelley’s life will be held at 10:00 Monday morning at West Sherman Baptist Church, with Rev. Danny Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Cemetery in Luella, Texas. Shelley was born February 13, 1963, in Sherman, Texas, to Richard and Joyce Reynolds. She was raised in Tom Bean, TX, and graduated from Tom Bean High School. On July 30, 1987, in Sherman, TX, Shelly married the love of her life, Steve Copeland. She was employed as Office Manager in the practice of Dr. Michael Benson for 18 years, where she was dearly loved by co-workers and patients alike. Shelley was recently privileged to take a number of ocean cruises, which she enjoyed immensely. Shelley was a devout Christian and longtime member of West Sherman Baptist Church. She had several favorite hymns and songs that she loved to sing, including ‘The Hurt and the Healer’ by Mercy Me, Victory in Jesus and Power in the Blood. She sang excerpts of these in her final moments on this earth. Shelley wanted to be sure that people understood that it was not cancer that took her away…rather, the Lord Jesus Christ called her home at her appointed time. Shelley was preceded in death by her parents-in-law James and Betty Copeland; grandparents Van and Louise Reynolds, and Ruby Gentry. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve; children: Josh Copeland and wife Carisa, and Kristen Bollier and husband Mike; grandchildren Chloe Bollier and Carter Copeland; parents Richard and Joyce Reynolds; and her brother Rich Reynolds and wife Pam, all of whom she loved dearly. Shelley’s family would be honored by memorial donations in her name to the Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W. Center St., Sherman, Texas 75090, or online at www.homehospice.org.
