Dear Moore family ~ I met Ruth a few years ago at a First Baptist Triple L meeting. We sat at the same table and often joked that I was a Methodist, and she was a Presbyterian, and here we were at a Baptist church! She was such a lovely lady, and I enjoyed getting to know her so much. In the process of talking one day, I discovered that one of my former high school students had married her grandson, so we really had a lot to talk about. She was so proud of her family and loved them so much. I feel blessed that I got to know her if only for a short time, and I will truly miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ruth was my first cousin and the most beautiful person I've ever known, both inside and out. She was loving, caring, always concerned about others, and always had a beautiful smile on her face. No matter how much pain she was in, when asked "How are you doing?", her answer was always, "I'm fine. How are you doing?" She loved studying our family history and sharing family pictures. She was so proud of her family and kept me up to date on her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a strong belief in God, and I know she is with him today. I will miss her every day and will miss her many cards and talking with her on the phone. I love you, Ruth, and know you are no longer in pain.
