Ruth was born July 4, 1948, in Campbell, MO, to Marvin and Nadine Looney Moyer. She graduated high school in Kennett, MO in 1966. Her life was filled with many adventures. In her younger Adult years she was known for being one of the first women to Static line jump in Kennett Mo. While some may have thought she was a risk taker, Ruth’s life was, centered around her family and her home. Despite being a somewhat stern personality, she was most warm and welcoming to all she met. She knew how to put a positive spin on nearly any situation. She leaves a reputation as an excellent cook, as well as a gifted seamstress, quilter and craftswoman, and had a great fondness for reading books. Not many things could upset Mrs. Ruth - just don't turn off her television set. Ever. Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister, Ruth is survived by her children: Jason McGhee, of Fort Worth, Charles McGhee and wife Michelle, of North Richland Hills, and Kristan Webb and husband Anthony, of Sherman; sister, Virginia Meier, of Booneville, IN; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Ruth was known to many as a wonderful Mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, mentor, and friend. Her generous heart, her beautiful smile, and uncanny laugh will be greatly missed by all.
