Obituary For Sara Jones

A Celebration of Life Service for Sara Martin Jones will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at The First United Methodist Church of Tom Bean. Rev. Jon Kendzie and Rev. Donny Haywood will officiate. Dannel Funeral Home has charge of cremation arrangements. Sara passed away at her home on Friday, July 21, 2017. She was born on October 31, 1929, near Ida, Texas, to Frank Martin and Velma Smith Martin. Sara is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Hall Jones of Tom Bean, Texas, two children Nick Jones and Nanci Kelly, daughter-in-law Cindy Jones, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Tom Bean or Home Hospice of Grayson, Cooke, and Fannin Counties.
