Obituary For Shari Trice Campbell

Shari Campbell, 64, of Sherman, passed away on May 21, 2025.

Family visitation will be at 10 am, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Fairview Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held directly after at the church. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Shari was born in McKinney, Texas, to L.E. and Ruby Trice on January 15, 1961. She married Steve Campbell on November 5, 1982. She worked for Sherman ISD in many different roles for 31 years, impacting many students and staff members during her tenure. She found great joy in serving at church as a Sunday School teacher, VBS coordinator, and committed member. She was fluent in loving people well, giving gifts, and speaking whale. She was the glue that held it all together, and her favorite thing was to have her family around her.

Shari is preceded in death by her parents, L.E. and Ruby Trice; parents-in-law, Edgar and Genny Campbell; and brother-in-law, Alan Campbell.

Shari is survived by her husband, Steve Campbell; children: Aaron Campbell and wife, Laura; Megan Campbell; Jessica Reynolds and husband, Matthew; sister, Pam King, and husband, Joe; brother, Kevin Trice; brother-in-law, Darryl Berry, and wife, Carole; sister-in-law, Perry Campbell; and her favorite five people, her precious grandchildren: Jack, Nash, and June Campbell, and Reily and Norah Reynolds. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Shari’s memory to your favorite charity or church. Some of Shari’s favorites are Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels. Memories or stories of Shari would bring great comfort and joy to the family, please send them to Fairview Baptist Church, and the Campbell Family, at 222 W. Taylor Street, Sherman, TX 75092.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to nurse Alex at Sherman Medical Center, the church members of Fairview Baptist, Trinity Baptist, and Legacy Bible, employees of Sherman ISD, and the many friends and family that are carrying us through this time.
