A Mass of the Christian Burial for Sharon Mae Fleitman, 74, of Sherman, Texas will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 10:00 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Sherman. Father Merlito Abiog will celebrate the mass. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at Dannel Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 6:00 pm. The family will greet friends immediately following the Rosary.

Sharon Mae Howard Fleitman was born on March 20, 1947 in Traverse City, Michigan to Francis Xavier and Gladys Howard. She married Melvin Henry Fleitman on September 21, 1996. Melvin and Sharon lived in Sherman for many years and were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Sharon loved to paint and loved feeding and watching the birds in her yard. She loved cats and she loved her family. She will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her husband Melvin, son, James Frasier and wife Connie of Henderson, Nevada; daughter in law, Sherry Frasier of Sherman; two sisters, Mary Oyerly and husband Bob of Vinita, Oklahoma and Nancy Barrett of Springfield, Missouri, and a brother, Paul Howard of Galena, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard, a brother Bill Howard, and sister, Irene Howard.
