Obituary For Shawnn Carl McNeil

Shawnn Carl McNeil, 41 of Sherman, Texas passed away on July 9, 2020.

Funeral services will be Tuesday July, 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Roy Spore and Pastor Russell Clemons officiating. Burial will follow the service at the same church. We would like to show our gratitude for Charles Dannel of Dannel’s Funeral home for the compassion and courtesy; making an extremely devastating time a little less worrisome.

Shawnn Carl McNeil was born in Sherman, Texas to Tina Young and Harold Dwain Young on February, 7th 1979. He went to school in Denison, Texas through high school. He married Elisha McNeil at Friendship United Methodist. He graduated from Cosmetology school in 2006. He also worked as a machine operator for Altium Packaging corp. He had a passion for baseball and rock and roll, always knew how to make you laugh, and had an infectious smile that always made you want to be around him. There was rarely a bad day while Shawnn was around.

Shawnn Carl McNeil is preceded in death by spouse Elisha McNeil, and grandmother Margorie Belva Hall.

Shawnn is survived by; parents Tina and Dane Young: son Tristan McNeil: Grandfather Raymond E. Brosofske at one-hundred years old: brother Christian McNeil, sister-in-law Angela McNeil, Nephews Konnor and Keenan McNeil, niece Keeley McNeil: brothers Michael and Daniel Young and family: Sister Tiffany Tavera and family : Michael Morris: Logan Bell: Velissa Brosofske: Rainau Brosofske as well as an endless number of stepbrothers and sisters who have been brought into the family throughout the years.

Our family wishes nothing but joy for those who have helped keep his name alive with prayers and blessings. He would have been so happy to see all the love and goodwill that has been shown during this devastating time. Nothing can make this better but numerous people have genuinely shown their love and we cannot thank you enough.
