Obituary For Steven Rapis Baula

Steven R “Pineapple” Baula, 78, of Sherman, Texas, passed peacefully away on December 18, 2024 in Sherman, Texas.

Memorial services will be held January 18, 2025 at 11am at Bonham Community Church with the Pastor Tony Whitehead officiating.

Steven was born July 21, 1946 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Simeon and Flora Baula. He went to school at Waipahu High School. He married Brenda (Jones) Baula on January 21, 1989 in Sherman, Texas. He worked as a forklift operator for LOF for 30+ years. He served in the Army as a carpenter for 2 years before starting at LOF. He was member of the
Sherman Elks Lodge and youth leader for the Boy Scouts Troop #26. He attended the first wood badge training where he received his wood badge.
He received the vigil honor through the Boy Scouts Order of the Arrow. He was quick draw champion in California before moving to Texas.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters (Angie and Lita). Steven is survived by his wife Brenda, sons Stevie and Chris Baula and wife Julie of Sherman, Terry Phillips, and daughter Stacy Shepard and husband Kenny of Dodd City, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
