Obituary For Sue Ann Hoover

Sue Ann Hoover, 68, of Sherman, TX was called home to the Lord on August 29, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on September 1, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Bro. Dan Kemp officiating. Sue Ann Hoover was born in Ganado TX, to William B. Ray and Nannie Oletha Ray on January 1st 1953. She grew up and went to school in Seguin, TX, and later moved to Houston to start her real estate career. There she met her spouse to be, Marvin Allen Hoover. On September 16, 1978 they were married in a private ceremony at her childhood home. She was a real estate broker and certified appraiser, owning and running her own business for over 40 years. She was an active member of the church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a generous spirit that impacted so many lives. She opened her home and her heart to everyone and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother to her two boys and all their friends, and cherished each moment she spent with them whether it was golfing, fishing, or video games. Sue also adored her three grandsons and found great joy and motivation in spending as much time with them as possible. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, William B. Ray and Nannie Oletha Ray, and her grandson, Jett Gallaway Hoover. Sue is survived by her beloved spouse Marvin Allen Hoover, her son Eric William Hoover and wife Lynette, son Andy Ray Hoover and wife Summer, and three grandsons, Oliver Jett Hoover, Cohen William Hoover, and Brant Canyon Hoover. The family of Sue wishes to extend our sincere thanks to those who loved and supported her, including those involved in her treatments, as she fought a tough battle and couldn’t have done it without such care. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support. Mom loved you all.

Sue was one of our favorite neighbors when we lived in Allen. I loved her laugher and sense of humor. She will truly be missed! Hugs to the family. Rachelle Rolf
