Talmer J.D. Ritchson died peacefully at the age of 85, in the Whitesboro Care Center following a brief illness. Mr Ritchson was born on January 16, 1932 in Kiamatia, Texas to Jim and Annie Ritchson. Talmer resided in Grayson County for the better part of 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters, including his twin Almer Ritchson Ridley. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Fay Ritchson, seven nieces, seven nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman with family visitation on Sunday, Jan 7 from 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be on Monday, Jan 8 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Akers Cemetery.
