Tena Marie Thompson, 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center. As were her wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have a private memorial. Tena was born May 2, 1962 in Liberal, Kansas to the late James and Lois Hale. Tena loved to read books, spending her time with her family laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving, caring person, a devoted grandmother and friend, who always thought of others first. "To know her was to love her." Tena was preceded in death by parents, James and Lois Hale and brother Darrell Essary. She is survived by her three daughters: Kristi Thompson and husband Lyndell, Misti Thompson and husband Robert, and Elizabeth Thompson; grandchildren: Aubrey, Breauana, Adriauna, and Ethan; great grandchildren: Zayden and Zariah; sister and brother in law: Elisha and James Briley of Amarillo; brother Nicky Hale of Houston, sister Regina Martin of Sherman; aunt and uncle Ronnie and Jeanie Lowe of Dorchester and many family and friends.
