Obituaries

Teresa Ann Hamlin, 64, of Sherman, passed away Saturday, September 13th at her home. Her family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 16th, at Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17th in Dannel Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow immediately afterward in West Hill Cemetery. Teresa was born February 14th, 1950, in Lubbock County, TX, to Glenn and Annie Lee Chance Wilfred. After graduation from high school, she attended The University of North Texas in Denton. She was married to John Oscar Hamlin, and together they raised two sons. She had volunteered many charity organizations, and had been an in-home caregiver. Preceded in death by her parents and one son, Brad, she is survived by her husband John, her son Tim, brother Wilfred Hamlin and wife Gail, nieces and nephews: Shannon Wilfred, Glenn Wilfred, Lavern Wilfred and Karen Wilfred.
