Walker Rex Boothe 99 of Sherman passed away Wednesday October 2nd at Texas Health Presbyterian/WNJ. The family will receive friends at Dannel Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday October 6th at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday October 7th at Dannel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Neill Morgan and Rev. Dr. John Williams officiating. Mr. Boothe was born December 28 1913 in Lindsay OK to Henry Clark Boothe and Mattie Ella Walker Boothe. During World War II he proudly served his country in the United States Army. In 1949 he married Joanna Lea in Clovis New Mexico. He enjoyed many successful years in professional sales. He was a long-time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman. Mr. Boothe is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Joanna Boothe, son David Clark Boothe, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Wayne Boothe Del Boothe Clovis Boothe Carl Boothe John Boothe and Jack Boothe, and one sister Edith Arnold, two very special "friends"¢ his dog Cricket and Jo-tu his favorite cat who lived to be 23 years old.
