Wanda Lou Salmon (Reeves) passed from this earth on November 19, 2022 where she resided at Silverleaf Assisted Living in Denison, Texas.

Wanda was born on January 16, 1936, to Lucius and Mary Reeves in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended schools in Ft. Worth and High School in Duncan, Oklahoma. She also attended Grayson county College. It was at Duncan High School that she met the love of her life Joe Salmon. they were married on March 3, 1957, in Duncan.

Wanda worked for Paul Carter Insurance in Sherman for many years. Wanda was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Sherman. Pastor Caleb Fleming of Fairview Baptist Church will officiate.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Salmon, brothers Junior Bowling and A.J. Bowling, and sister Louise Stephenson.

She is survived by nephews, Billy Stephenson, Jesse Stephenson, Damon Salmon, Eric Salmon, Alan Salmon and niece Nayna Salmon. Also by many great nieces and nephews.

Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Chapel on the Hill in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
