Wayne Bliss Armstrong age 44 of Tom Bean passed away on June 18 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 22 2011 at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman with his uncles Robert Bernard and Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Holloway Cemetery in Luella Texas. Wayne was born on August 30 1966 the son of Jan Armstrong and Linda (Smith) Cripps. He was educated in the public school system. He worked as a General Contractor/Field Engineer for General Electric for the past 19 years traveling to many places such as Canada Virginia Arizona Florida Trinidad and Aruba. Wayne was a strong man who worked hard to take care of his family and enjoyed having fun with them. Some of the things he enjoyed the most was living in the country for many years before moving to Tom Bean and his rock and roll music. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Wayne is survived by his mother Linda Cripps and husband Larry of Sherman, his father Jan Armstrong and wife Barbara of Tom Bean a son Chase Armstrong of Tom Bean and his mother Karen Bardwell of Pottsboro his brother Terry Land of Denton Grandmother Mary Armstrong of Luella Grandmother Thelma Bernard of Grapevine Sisters Ila Rigdon and her husband Jeff of Sherman Deborah Cripps of Frisco "Adopted" Brother Justin Goldston of Dallas Nephews Taylor Rigdon and Logan Rigdon Neice Erika Rigdon and her husband Brandon of Whitesboro and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a grandfather Glenn Armstrong grandparents J.D. Smith and Jewel Smith grandfather Ralph Bernard and an uncle Jerry Smith. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Rigdon Taylor Rigdon Logan Rigdon Justin Goldston Ray Croteau and Greg Riefel.
