Obituary For William Charles Hester

“Grinner” William Charles Hester, 54 of Glen Rose, TX passed away on April 30, 2024, in Glen Rose, TX . He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Grinner was born on January 10, 1970, in Denison, TX, the son of Jim and Patsy Hester. He spent his childhood in Denison, TX, Big Spring, TX, and in Lubbock, TX.

Grinner never met a stranger and always met you with a smile. He was very loyal to his friends. He maintained his childhood friendships throughout the entirety of his life.

Grinner spent most of his career in the film industry. He produced some projects himself but found most of his skills in the film editing department and has many credits to his name. He had a love for music and wrote songs which he played on his guitar.

He is survived by one daughter, Tera Star Hester and two sons, Tanner Moon Hester and Taylor Sun Hester. He is also survived by two sisters Lori Posey of Ropesville, TX, Angela Medrano of Josephine, TX and one brother James Hester of Ropesville, TX, and a host of other friends and family.

Grinner is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Patsy Hester, and brother Philip Lee Hester. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be sent to Papa's Pantry located in Glen Rose, TX.

Graveside services for Grinner will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, TX.

Additionally, a Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Big Rocks Park in Glen Rose, TX.
